About

Located in the spectacular Ogwen Valley, our park nestles within a quiet woodland with Ogwen Bank Falls providing a spectacular backdrop. The Ogwen is a delightful river, spilling down the mountains of Snowdonia, in parts rushing by, in others quiet stretches and deep pools. Noted for salmon and sea trout, fishing is available in the river but not on the Park (please ask at reception about permits or licences).

The whole area is well known for activity based holidays and this Park in particular. The natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park (840 square miles of varied countryside) is hard to surpass anywhere and beckons to be explored.

The writer George Borrow in 1862 in his book “Wild Wales” described Snowdonia thus:
“Perhaps in the whole world there is no region more picturesquely beautiful than Snowdonia” …

Deep in the heart of the park is the Olde Worlde Country Club, the former hunting lodge to Penrhyn Castle. Complete with log fire and an excellent licensed bar, the Club provides the perfect atmosphere in which to relax after exploring the wilds of Snowdonia.

Bar meals are served day and evening. Also take away is available during most of the holiday season, there is a separate bar for children serving soft drinks and coffee. Click here to see a sample menu.

Entertainment includes live music, pool tables, video games and satellite television. Ogwen Bank Caravan Park and Country Club is the ideal place for relaxing, fun-packed holidays. There is no better area in Britain than Snowdonia for all kinds of walking. There are nature trails up to the more difficult mountain walk – Snowdon has six well known tracks – but be prepared! Those wishing to take the more leisurely route up can enjoy a different perspective of the mountain from the unique Snowdon Mountain Railway with breathtaking views.

We have beautiful holiday homes for sale as well as lodges, caravans and camping pods for hire.
